Panel on LGBT migration in Baltic Pride

The problems of LGBT migrants and refugees were discussed during a panel in Baltic Pride (Vilnius, Lithuania).

The panelists — Antons Mozalevskis (WHO), Latšin Aliev (EHPV), Igor Gordon (EHRA), Valeriy Sozaev (Russian LGBT-network) — stated, that there are lack of information on the issue, lack of services (including access to health one), lack of political will among decision makers, but huge risks of discrimination, exclusion and isolation of LGBT migrants, based on both SOGI and migration stigma. There is a big field to possible cooperation between various NGOs and governmental institutions
